Right, then!

So, did a little tinkering in the garage - reo rganized some shelves that needed it, which created some space; did some clay barring on the hood and trunk on the BMW to see how it worked out (reasonably well, but there’s a lot of chips in the clear coat I think); started on the speaker rebuild. Well, started insomuch as I removed a couple of speakers, got all of the old foam off to find that the new foam I ordered does not fit...so now waiting to hear back from Speaker Works to see if the have anything that will fit.

In other news, due to being locked in, I’ve decided to grow a mustache, because fuck it why not? I’m about a week in...today I was talking to GF and she was distractedly looking for something on her phone...then suddenly the Magnum PI theme started playing. Might have been an editorial comment.

In the meantime, I got a pint glass filled with ice, sparking water, lime juice and Jameson’s. I’d post a pic, but the house is a pigsty and I can’t get a good angle that doesn’t show the shitshow. So envision a glass filled with ice, sparkling water, lime juice and Jameson’s, with condensation on the outside and you’ll get the picture...

The last beer in the house - Founders KBS Stout. I guess its strictly wine and cocktails after this.

I mean, the beer store is still allowed to be open, but my car is in the garage and my company car is blocking it in, and I just don’t feel like moving shit around right now.

I’m in that stage of cleaning where I’ve somehow made the entire house a mess because I can finish literally none of the projects until all the rest of the projects are also done.

Nothing tonight for me, I’m saving it until tomorrow’s snowstorm. It’ll be lots of scotch.

My husband however drank a bunch of pre-made blood orange margarita and is lightly plastered . He deserves it; he’s a manager for a grocery chain. Not fun times right now.

Tonight I drank a Manhattan while contemplating the sorry state of my liquor supply. To make matters worse my wife made our weekly grocery run and forgot my request for beer.

Current inventory:

No beer

About two drinks worth of bourbon

A half bottle of dark rum

Quarter bottle of light rum

Full bottle of scotch

I also have a nearly full bottle of peach brandy and most of a bottle of chocolate vodka, but I have no clue what to do with those.

I desperately need a resupply of bourbon, rye, and gin.

Couple IPAs. Did random stuff around my place, then went over to clean up my grandparents yard. Was only going to be an hour and spent 3.5 raking and picking up sticks, and now feeling it in my back. celebrated with a pizza

I too have grown a majestic mustache and am working on garage organization. It will be a real improvement when I’m done. Tonight, I’ve been drinking Japanese whiskey while tripling my money at a Zoom poker night. Good Saturday, all told.

2 desperados, 1 Duff (yeah, an actual Duff beer!) and I finished my Nikka Coffee Grain bottle yersterday (it was only 3 glasses...).

I'd love to try Coffee Malt next, but I have a bunch of other bottles to finish first.
